Root & Bloom Garden

In the summer of 2025, we will begin installing LVPPP’s Root & Bloom garden in the lawn in front of the school. Our hope is to transform the front outdoor space into a vibrant, healing, and community-centered environment that fosters social connection and emotional wellbeing for our preschool children and their families.

The goals of this project will be to:

  • Create a therapeutic garden where children can engage in sensory play, grow plants, experience nature, and develop emotional regulation skills.

  • Develop a welcoming gathering area with seating and shade to foster family connections and peer support.

  • Establish a transition space where children and families can decompress before and after school, reducing stress and anxiety during times of transition.

  • Enhance the school’s entrance and visibility, reinforcing LVPPP’s commitment to play-based learning and whole-person education.

We anticipate completion by Spring 2026.
