Our Classrooms
Our school provides two mixed age classrooms (Sunflower & Lavender) and one Toddler classroom (Daisy - 2 year old’s). Each teacher plans developmentally appropriate activities for their classrooms. Students of all ages play together indoors, and during outside time in our outdoor classroom and garden. Learn more about our classrooms below.
Seedlings: Ages 12-23 months
Our Seedlings class provides play and socialization for children 12-23 months and a supportive community for their caregivers. This is a child-led, child-directed play-based environment with an experienced early childhood teacher. During class you will expect to see developmentally appropriate explorations. Process art, sensory and messy play is at the heart of what we do. An introduction to peer interactions/relationships and self regulation habits from home to school. This Caregiver and Me program is designed to welcome our youngest learners; guiding their transition from home to school. Children and families are invited to explore at their own pace. This program aims to provide a smooth transition into the Daisy program and our Co-Op community.

Daisy Room: Ages 2-2.5
The Daisy Room is for children between the ages of 2 and 2.5. Children in diapers are accepted without additional fees, and our teachers will work with you during the toilet training process.
*Daisy Room will be offered on Mondays/Wednesdays & Tuesdays/Thursdays in Fall 2026.

Lavender Room: Ages 3.5+
The Lavender Room is for children ages 3.5 and up, including those who are preparing to enter TK or Kindergarten. While some of our children graduate from the Lavender Room into their local TK (transitional Kindergarten) program, this classroom also offers a great play-based alternative to traditional TK and Kindergarten programs.

Outdoor Classroom and Garden
Our age-appropriate playground and bike/trike track has been designed to encourage free choice and exploration. Our playground allows children to work on large motor skills, learn cooperative play and have fun.
Our students help plan, plant, and maintain our garden. We grow plants and vegetables to eat for snack time, attract butterflies, and beautify our space. We grow food and flowers in our garden and teach children how plants grow. It helps children learn about healthy eating, taking care of our earth and respecting our community.
